Welcome to Genealogy By Jamie, a unique blog for my family to explore our family stories and heritage. Genealogy has been an obsession of mine for many years now. I have to give credit to my sister-in-law Linda for inadvertently getting me started. She has been sleuthing and finding family for as long as I think I have known her.  I always wondered why until that fateful day when I opened Ancestry on my computer and quickly had a tree of hundreds of people I had never known.  Hooked.   It has added such value to my life, and I love having the opportunity to share my discoveries with my family on both sides.
